Pumpkin Head Cheat Sheet

Some things that made it easier for my clients

- Measure the size of your head, get a pumpkin that will fit your head nicely
- Cut the pumpkin from the bottom (cut the pumpkin 2 days before your shoot. letting it dry will make the pumpkin lighter. DONOT cut the face yet)
- Use a hand mixer or metal cookie scoop to scrap the sides of the pumpkin, after emptying out the guts.
- Try to scrape 2-3 inches off inside the pumpkin.
- TEST TO SEE IF IT FITS AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS
- Day of shoot cut your desired face,

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

How many pictures you receive will depend on how long your session is. The minimum 30/35 minute session results in 30 - 40 photos. A 1hour session can produce 50 - 90 photos.

How should we dress for our family session?

Wear solid, neutral colors. I always recommended in a family sessions that 1 person wears a patterned outfit that has matching colors to the rest of the family. Stay away from pure white shirts as they tend to wash out the face.
